help me please

so the mini is finally nearing painting,
so me and dad are tryin to work out wat to do before paint,
like prep stuff,
wat do i put on?

well are you doing bare metal ??? or just rubin the old paint back ??

just rub it back get it flat as possible then put a coat of primer or guide coat on with the black strips then rub back again to make sure it is nice and flat then prime and paint

well year on the welds and repairs would help prolly etch prime first
