70mm angle will do the trick. Just weld to pieces in an "s" shape and bolt it to the floor or you can weld/bolt/blu-tack two flat pieces of metal to the cobra subframe which is what I will be doing myself sometime this week :D

I have Sparco Sprints, with Cobra subframes for a Mini. I had to weld 2 flat pieces of steel across the subframe, was like 5mm think, 50mm wide but dunno how long. I then drilled holes in these to line up with the mounting points on the seat. I used Allen key bolts as it is a close fit.

On the frames it has 2 legs at the rear with plastic feet, I removed the plastic feet and had metal ones lathed up. I then ran another metal plate across the rear part of the frame where the legs mount to. I then mounted 2 long bolts down through the plate, through the frame down the legs and through the floor. Its then plated underneath the floor as well.

With this setup the seat is unable to flip forward, so no 1 will be sitting in back. This all kept the engineer happy.

What sort of seats do u have???
