hey guys i am thinking of starting an ausini rc series, to be held inconjunction with all the major mini shows around australia next year. anyway anyone with a tamiya 1:10 rc mini using either the m01 chasis or the m03 chasis can race (no nitro cars) also rc bini coopers using the extended m03 chasis can enter. so if you have a rc mini , put ya name (and piccies) in this thread. thanks, ben. |

Do you want to specify rules/regulations? I'm sure some people wouldn't be happy if I roll ip with a car capable of 50kph compared to the next guys stocko 30 kph machine. Things to consider: Electronics (radio gear and speed control) Motor Tyres Suspension Weight Battery (size, power, voltage) |

well i was thinking everyone runs the mabuchi (silvercan) 540 with a 7.2 volt battery (with unlimited Mah rating) also speed controller is unlimited aswell as tyres, rims, suspension etc. this will be totally separate from the mini rc class at rc clubs around australia. |

Its scary to drive an rc mini that quick, but it hasn't stopped my plans for more power and speed. 
I'm sure I can find a car to run and fit the regulations. Where and when for the first race? Mt Cooper would be perfect, but its a bit close to organise too much. |

Run it to Mini class rules. Means if you were to race it somewhere else, you dont have to buy different equipment. It's like say improved production. The rules in vic are the same as the rules in nsw, so people can go race in a different state if they want. |

Just run them stock out of the box, but lots of hop ups you can put in without seeing them like gear box bearings instead of bushes the list goes on. i guess just use the rules and regs from RC clubs. great idea and i would be in it as i have both types plus a nitro but i'm happy to just race the electric ones. not that i have used them yet. |

I know what that's like. I have a MINI and a Mini, both Tamiya, built, painted and even with optioned parts, but have never turned a wheel. Same goes for my HPI Rally and MT.
