 Post subject: Strange rear Hi / Los

Last time I bought a set of Hi / Los for a mini they fit straight in. THis time the ones for the rear are too long and it looks like they need about 40mm machines of them just to get them to fit even when they are on the lowest setting - what gives??

Maybe those rear struts (bits of bar) are not original and were made to suit old worn cones...

Yeah some really strange stuff on this mini. Front suspension is pretty weaird as well.

maybe they are the oriional brittish hi los which were designed for rally cross cars which where made higher, so they made the bar longer, cant you just cut it donw??

You can only cut a certain amount off each end which is what we have done. Nice and low now - not sure how I will go when I change back to the 12" wheels from the 10s

Just fit longer bolts to the back of them.... 8)
