Old man owns a 1976 Clubman S...other day the old girl was driving it home and some old todger pulls out and runs hist ute right down the drivers side. Did a fair bit of damage to the poor mini :( have pics, but not sure how to upload them.

Anyway...every panel, front to rear is busted up. So in QLD around the sunny coast, where is a good place to get a front drivers side panel and a door to fit a clubby? and a rough price. Will be getting a respray of course but no big deal, its only white.

Pretty disappointing though, looks rather nasty. If someone did that to my mini when it is on the road I think I would kill them.

Cheers
Todd

Hows the old man :?: :?:

The harsh world of driving isnt it?

If you do want to share pictures,
one option is to upload at a free site, www.imageshack.us, copy the bottom link, and paste it in our post and put a set of 'tags' around it.

Bad luck for the old man :(

Aussie, you have mail :)

The insurance is comming good with the cash so the little mini should be getting fixed which is good to hear. Has been in the family for yeeeeaaarrrssss.

The old fella came out unhurt :( he said he was only 'rolling' when you see the damage you see if you think he was rolling...bloody fool he is.

It already had a scratch down that side so guess it isn't all bad news. Also uncovered a fair bit of bog which is interesting haha

Judging by the photos you'd need
New front gaurd
New A panel
New door (lot easier than popping out old one)
and they can panel beat the rest.
Shouldnt cost too much.
I'd say 2500 would be a good going for a job like that.

If the car is comprehensivley insured it will be a write off easily.
