If your Mini runs on BP 98 Premium-get in quick :!: :!:
BP Kwinana Refinery has not refined any"high octane" fuel for two weeks, and is going to run out next week. You will not be able to get this until end of November or early December.
The refinery has had a "breakdown" with the equipment that refines this fuel.It will be at least two weeks before repairs are finished.Normal unleaded will not be affected....
You have been warned- fill up your tank
This only effects WA.
Oh-and BP's soon media release concern will state that only 20% of motorist use 98...
Thanks for nothing

Coincidentally I am one of those few 400,000 people in WA that rely on premium !
Topped up yesterday :x

Your Mini obviously isn't running a C/R of 10.7:1 or more then.
Mine will just tolerate 95 if I don't lug it or get up it. 91? Forget it..

apparently the BP refinery is the ONLY supplier of Premium and 98 in WA. So the others must get their Premium and 98 from BP... apparently

not apparently, definately. Aall WA 98 ron comes from BP kwinana. And I don't think I have seen a mobil in years. Mobil merged with ampol or something, there might be a few around but they are hens teeth if they do exist. Not good news if you are reliant on the good stuff but at least you could withg up with 95 ron and octane booster or mothballs are meant to work 8) (no not from mythbusters, I've known about it since I was a takker!) but you wouldn't catch me trying mothballs on my car - no idea what it does to the rest of the car
