Well, i guess it is now time to officially plug Graham Russell (Russell Engineering)

His business is great, his customer service is excellent and after he
has built your motor he is still more than helpful...

im sure everyone knows this already, but just to let everyone else know!

His service is great even when he hasn't built your motor - anyone who has ever called or approached him with an idea or an inquiry would know that he's a champ.

If only he wasn't so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so god damn busy all the time.

I agree- he goes well out of his way to help you.

He's often `so damn busy' because there's a major historic meeting somewhere, and everybody wants their dead motor resurrected simultaneously. :?
BTW he doesn't only build Mini stuff.... he's into Nissans, Ford twincams, Sprites, big Healeys, etc.

if that big Nissan Motor you're talking about is the one sitting near the Dyno room, it's his brother's for his speedway car.

That thing is niiiiiiiiice 8) home made extractors and fuel injection, and near 200 hp out of a naturally aspirated datsun motor.

I've gotta say I agree with all the previous comments. The man is a perfectionist, and really cares about what he's doing. I'm sure he likes to look after young blokes that come there just to support the scene and I'm constantly seeing examples of him going out of his way for people.

The man is a legend.

BTW, Keith Calver is paying him a visit on Friday. I don't know how long for.

here here, he is great, his work is second to none and he is a nice bloke to boot and even gives out his little tricks when most people keep them to them selves.

great guy

He is a gret guy and has really helped me and minis around the world.
I know he will be flat out for the next few weeks so try not to disturb him too much as it will all be for our benefit in the long run.

He helped me out and put me up at his place with no questions asked and i really appreciate that, i hope one day he will come to visit us on the small island and i can do the same for him, (on a smler scale) but it hink he neds to get away and have a bit of a break for a while soon.

I chat to him regulary and he is always keen to help me out.
