A HUGE drive...
and i should've taken my camera...
I started out by watching australia continue it's streak in world cup qualifying

and when the missus left for work, i took off for what i thought was going to be a "quick cruise".
hmm... I filled up in woodside and set of to see where i would end up.... and i ended up going up past collinsgrove to angaston then to nuri then back down the highway, all the way to the city.. out the other end up to belair and back home via mt lofty just a "quick" 5 or so hours of driving.
the reason i should've taken my camera was that about 15 minutes into my drive, i saw, in two neighbouring paddocks..... a camel.... and an alpaca..

okkher...
driving is a whole lot less stressfull now the speedo works (t'anks seamus)
it's funny to.... every speed sign i see i go... okay... 80... now one 5th of 50mph is 10 so 3/5's of that is 30 ... that added to 50 is 80...great.. i go 50..
i only just did the maths from one of my straight line "lets-see-what-this thing-can-do" bursts..... and using my above formula...
if we say
3(y/5)+y=128
i can say.... "I got it up to y mph"
other than that... i'm really impressed with my cooling system... after about an hour of driving upto and equal to y mph, the reading on my temp gauge said about 50 degrees...

i was sure that was wrong so i stopped to do a feel check because i knew it was going to be red hot.
but no... i could rest my hand on the radiator cap within 30 seconds of stopping the car.....nice....
mind you .... the air temp was a bit chilly... but at about noon when i was in the city and it had warmed up abit.... it still didn't go above 80....good thing.....
and it only used half a tank .... nice one mini....
