all of you have seen my post about my little accident :cry: minifreak1 is all but gone..but
now im starting to pull her apart and need to know if its possible to remove the rear subframe with everything still on it ..i no ill need to undo the shocks and brake line etc..but can this be done..just drop it down..
also next question can this be done with the front frame as well...ie remove the frame with the engine still mounted to it??and then lift the body over the whole lot??any help would be good...

Yes, can be done. Just remember to undo everything - all cables, brake & fuel lines etc
Use blocks under the subframes to keep them stable while you lift the body off.
Easy as pie :)

thats good to know....was pritty sure as link did this to my rear subframe.
would rarther do it this way as i will find it easyier when putting it all back together after i replace all the broken stuff.
anything else i should know befour i begin???

I must say having done the same thing it'd easier than you think too.
Buy a box of zip-loc bacgs and bag and label everything you pry off it,
and do the front first, then you can wheel it around to where you want
it for taking the rear off.
