Just reading the latest MOTOR mag and someone has written in:

MY MINI MOKE
After reading the Letter of the Month (September Issue - Write Off), I had to laught about the comment on driveing old minis that don't go fast. Has this kid ever been in a Mini? I'm a Moke owner and the little thing doesn't go that bad. But about the Mini, a friend of mine has a Cooper S Mk 1 that does 14-second 1/4miles. Maybe he should go for a drive in a decent one.

Name withheld,
Via email.

Haha...

only 14 000 of the 7 500 or so built left

There is also many minis out there quicker than the average S

The letter writer needs a spin in a twin cam mini some day
