Hi all

I'm a not so long time reader first time poster....

Does anyone know where you can get a spring to stop the door handle "slop" on a morris? On the shaft of the handle once I removed it were 4 washers secured by a split pin guessing instead of the washers there's a spring that goes there or am I wrong??

pic for you all:

When you do get the spring and install the handle, make sure you get the positioning of the spring correct, follow a workshop manual if you have one.

Sometimes when you position the spring and the handle it looks right but then the outer handle is sloppy and wont stay "horizontal" when the door is closed. Get it right and everything works fine :D

Mini door handles and locks are a pain in the a** compared to most cars :P
