Is that just the motor, or does it have the car attached? Just the motor, under $100. Kinda depends on the shell condition otherwise...

Anto.

$100. Unless you got a real need for an 850 motor. I got one given to me for nix- it's got a late model large tail crank too. :D

Well if it had the car attached you should say 'a rustbucket with an 850 motor in it', not the other way around!!

Post subject:  Twins!!

What would you pay for a twin 1 1/8 manifold and carbs for an 850!!! (condition is unknown but they have sat there for years) and,

maybe if you could get the head thrown in? or maybe...

Would it be better to bid to remove the the whole engine?

Side Question: (maybe this should go to Midels) are parts still plentifull for 1 1/8 carbs?

If the car hasn't been moved for buggery's years, it will show it. You will need to replace seals and all that, but i should think the metal wouldnt be corroded. Especially if there is oil in the thing; unless it hasn't leaked out everywhere  .

Personally, I'd lock in A), Eddie.

I'd get it as CHEAP AS POSSIBLE, I wouldnt offer more than 100 bucks for any engine that I hadnt seen running. Ya never know how much work the engine or gearbox is gonna need to get it back into running condition

Cept for a 1275 of course, it would be worth a hundred bucks but that's a different story

Any 1275 is worth lots more than $100 if it's all there. Costs money to buy a block, then crank, then head, then rods, then...etc.
I know this from experience... :P

If U see a cheap 1275, buy it. Somebody will want it, sooner rather than later.
