Went to the "Mini Cooper S" Auction at Maraylya tghis morning.

The mini was in no way a Cooper S, It was admitted that it was a mini deluxe with "possibly a Cooper S" 1275 and disk brakes. It was two tone blue with the rust starting to pop through the paint in the usual spots. It had the prelude bucket seats conversion and all the interior had been retrimmed some years ago IE Nothing inside the car was standard mini let alone Mini cooper.

It was passed in at $4,500 as the owner wanted somewhere between $6-8k. I thought it would be good buying for $3500.

I did get a couple of good buys
HG ute, small amount of rust but very neat for age $250
VK commodore Wagon with modified 202, 4 speed, Webers and extractors all in surprisingly good condition $50.00

And thanks to all I now have the clubman bonnet!!

VK's were the worst ever Bombadore....$50 is about right
