Hi there folks, I recently bought a clubman to do up , and just today I noticed that it had a faded 'S' on the boot lid but no badge. Can anyone tell me what differences there are between a normal clubman and an S clubman?
Thanks

Hey

i bought a clubby and then realised it was an S...

i think the S went through a few changes.. like, getting an 1100 engine, then back to the 998. not sure... what is yours??? i have 998.

post up your engine number and VIN, which is on the plate. or radiator shroud.

ill see if i can match up the numbers.

Most likely not an S unless it was changed..

Are there holes in the front grill for where an S badge may go? and do you have the flares?...

It has flares on it which I think are original. has 20mm welded on pieces coming out from archs that plastic flares sit on (original?), not sure about other stuff, I bought it already striped down. I know it has a 998 motor in it though. Will have a look tomorrow for rest through my parts as its dark now and i'm scared of bogey men!

I'm pretty sure you can just screw them over the lip, but don't quote me on it, someone who knows can confirm..

No, Innos won't fit unless you cut the metal lip off.
If it's got that lip I'd refit the proper ones, if you can find 'em.

Hmmm...
We need to find a set too, for Daytona.. :?
