I'm guessing you have hydrolastics so it is either: One of your displacers have blown trying to get a replacement might be tricky.. or the system might just need a pump up (easier fix) The hydrolastic displacers can be found above the front suspension turrets or laying horizontally in the rear subframes check around the hoses for leaks / seepage. This is of course assuming your mini is hydrolastics. ![]() |

Yes my baby has hydrolastics no leaks she just decided to lower herself... My mechanic does not deal with the in's and out's of minis so he has given me the number for mini spares and repairs at castel hill but im abit sceptical about giving my car to people because my originally mechanic stuffed me around... |

If you are sure it has just let it's hydrolastics down phone around for a place that has a hydrolastics pump or beg borrow or steal one and pump it up again and your done the hydrolastics do go flat for whatever reason. So your in Sydney then ? A lot of people on here are from Sydney so they might be able to help you out. Karcraft in silverwater sell the hydrolastic fluid. Alternatively you could make your own hydrolastic pump there are a couple of designs floating around here do a search. ![]() And fill inyour location field in your profile so people know where you are and can offer help ![]() |

Ivan has a 40 yr old history racing and ralying minis, formula junior racers and coventry climax specials. Infact he has an amazing collection including 970 and 1071 Coop Ss and several John Cooper specials. Hes an inredibly experienced guy and a pleasure to deal with - but these days I understand that he wants to focus on his racers and projects so he's got another guy taking over the day to day in the workshop. He is supposed to be good as well though/ |
