Yes Marc for Oz cars it is far better than the POS Haynes one. ANY Oz one is better than the Haynes... ![]() |

![]() The only manual to have for an OZ built Mini is the OZ BMC manual part number TP832, Black, Dark Blue or whatever colour. Haynes manuals are not for OZ built cars. They even say that at the front. The manual is not for cars destined for countries other than the UK. As far as OZ built cars are concerned it is a POS. Its only redeeming feature is that they quite often have good pictures/photos of the various bits. If you do a bit of Googling you should be able to find a site that has the Haynes Mini manual in a PDF file for downloading. Unfortunately I can't remember the URL. Could still be available online if the I/T police haven't caught up. RonR |

TK, I had a chuckle just now looking in my Gregorys 02 manual (1971-1978)- no details on Oz doors except Clubby (fair I guess, it's a Clubby era book), and the wiring diagrams list among other things, Australian Moke and PICKUP... haha. Most of the diagrams are straight reprints from UK books and are WRONG for Oz cars. Note- the Leyland Black book falls for this trap too, along with lots of windup door info on UK cars we never got.. and various typos in the spec sheets. The only decent and correct wiring diagrams for Oz roundnose cars I've found are in the old Scientific Publications #64 which is a good one if you find it. It actually has details on assembly of Oz Deluxe & S windup doors... ![]() ![]() Even my BMC Red manual has only UK wiring diagrams, as it's a UK produced book. However, after all this, the Black book is probably the only one still in print that is useful for Oz made cars.. available from www.pitstop.net and probably other motoring bookshops. |

I like my orange manual better. It's the same as the blue book. BUT it is so much brighter and you can see it better in a dark garage. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cheers Aaron |
