Well i had been told about them
But it wasnt until i saw them tonight(yesty night) That i had seen them.

At the Latrobe Speedway, the World Series Sprintcars came in,
so i randomly decided to go tonight,
They smelt and sounded and looked nice enough,
not worth the 30 bucks to get in though, as the other few categories were just pathetic
a few ended up on their head though,
and the random guys fighting in the crowd was probably almost as fun as the other categories.

but
What i hadnt seen were the two push car minis that they have,
They werent out in the main field,
they didnt get used this event
But i decided to take a walk to the back of the viewing area and could see them in the pit area
and this is they
how fun :?: :P
Image
i got a few more zoomed in a bit more, but cant be bothered uploading now or ever

Can anyone confirm that the logo on the door is an Army corps badge? Not transport but maybe medical?

Looks more like one of the Yankie police force emblems [scales of justice can be seen but can't read the writing]

Thankis Cam - yep that is the emblem in question

My research earlier in the day suggested security services of some sort [the combination of the 7 pointed star and the scales of justice] but I didn't have anything concrete enough to post on.

The colour scheme and the emblem on the push car would more likely be referencing some form of local sponcership i would suggest.

Cheers Dat

I couldnt put a sticker on them :( :P
They were a long way away

But if i had have been thinking, i could have gone for a close look :P

Because the pit area was shut off from the general public,
BUT the regular truck driver who comes up to the farm everyday and gets the fresh veggies and takes them across the coast to Launceston, he was in control of the pit gate.
And at work today he asked me if i had any pictures of the cars, i said the fence was in the way,
and he said you should have gone into the pits,
And then he said if i had have asked the right person i could have got in
So that was a bit silly to tell me after the event.

But i think, this is Max Dumesny, talking on the phone on the mini, i didnt even realise till i got home
so, i suppose thats an irrelevant story   :P
