Hi All!
i was wondering where decent places were to source mini engines in aus? i live in sydney but i remember finding a site a while back in qld where you could trade your old engine/gearbox in for a new custom built engine they had made in aus using motorcycle pistons (from memory?!) but in general i was looking for a "new" engine/gearbox for my panel van and was wondering about good places to source these things? is it worth looking at getting one sent over from minimania in the uk or not worth the expense?

Also i have noticed there is not a decent list of links sites dedicated to mini spares/sales/parts/services in australia.. any would be great! id love to compile them and post them up somewhere!

in the HOW TO section you will find a pretty comprehensive list of parts suplliers, 2nd hand and new along with workshops.
Most mini places will sell you a complete unit, but i would recomend rebuilding what you have unless you want to upgrade to a 1275

anywhere you can suggest yourself? did you do the limo conversion? it looks awesome! i got the panel van because i need to cart a drum kit around but the limo look so hot!

tho graham russle is one of the best in australia and probley the best in sydney and he is near parramatta. he built the motor for the current fastest group Nc mini drive by greig malure of crap i cant remember the name of his mini buisness anyways he can buld anything from a nice sedate cruiser to a full blown fire breathen heathen
