I can't comment on whether they are good or not, but I can safely say they are illegal to fit, unless you get an engineering cert.

Rear brakes don't do very much as there is not enough weight over the top of them so IMO they are not worth it.

Don't you need a handbrake as well :?

Rear discs are not much use in a mini - the front has most of the weight & does most of the braking. Buy some finned drums, and with the money you save upgrade your front brakes

<edit> he beat me to it

for Bling I agree they are perfect..but not worth the money for a road car  spend it else where  even for the bling factor 8)

not worth it dude ...best to go for twin circuit brakes just in case...
i have drums on my landcrusier fj40 and it weighs 1.8tonne hehe stops like a bus ...
though the drums are a bit more than double the size of a mini''s drum
:D :D

Ok thanks everyone for your replies..

I was just more or less curious to see if anyone had purchased them and were happy with them..

I did not think about getting and engineers certificate nor did I think about the handbrake and assumed this would still be fitted. More or less like other cars that have rear disk brakes :).

But yep I kinda want to have a little bit probably more though of the bling factor with this Mini.. But I only want to do things once and replace things that are hard to replace at the start while the car is stripped down.

In regards to wheels have no idea yet... I also dont know if I should run 10's or 12's.

But Cody's wheels look very nice :).. I guess I will have to try harder to get them off him :)..

But either way I guess I really need to decide if I am going to run flares or not. More than likely I will probably end up running flares. But the flares I have seen fitted to Minis so far I dont really like. Other than the ones on Aarons van and the orginal style Cooper S flares which I dont think you can buy anymore.
