i wanna wear my motorbike helmet while i drive the moke
its cold and the wind stings my eyes

is this legal?

i called up a police station and they said
"no its not illegal, not that im aware of... i dont think so"
"are there any laws with covering the face while driving?"
"no i dont think so"

is this a good enough excuse for driving with a helmet?

PROS head protection, safety, warm
CONS officer might pull me over for acting like a dick

no it's not illegal, sometime back the governmet tried to pass a law for all open toped cars to wear a helmet. This didn't bode well with there wives and the law was never passed. How could there wives drive there brand new merc's (supplied by the tax payers of course) and have to wear a helmet, the hair would be a disastor, what would people say! That was a few years back, they have all moved into 4wd's, you know because it's safer...............

I had great fun with a freind of mine and his girlfreind (waiting of this one)
Di was on her L's and we were in a Capella. My mate was in the back and I was the only fully licenced driver.
We were going passed one of the hot spots in Parra (Now Gone, Stalions) and my mate likes his bikes. Yep He had a full faced in the back (not to mention what we were on). Everone waiting for taxi saw a L's with the Passanger seat (helper, Not) with a helmit on.
It's one of those should have been thier times. And did I get a dam hidding from the driver that night. No comments thanks but what a funny time.

68 Matic you have to give it a go a least for the stear factor specialy if you have the other half with you in the passenger seat. LOL

If I had a Cobra I'd even be prepared to wear a Dart Weider (wrong spelling? sorry I dunno much about SWars) head ensemble. Even a good replica will do.

uuuh...he means Darth Vader... or is that Dark Helmet (from the parody, Space Balls)

Thats okay mike, go back to your OTHER movies...

If you drove a Subaru Vortex, you could wear a Robocop outfit and not look out of place........ Or drive a Comby Van and wear a Ninja Turtle outfit perhaps???

Ooh, the mind boggles.....
