Attach the padlock to the door only... So when the door is closed it appears to be bolted to both sides but will open when the door is opened.

I'm going to make a padbolt with padlock that has a magnetic base so i can put it on and take it off whenever i wish.

yer this mini is only going to be for the track on road use i think
i will make it so it looks like its on but you can still open the door

i will go the mr bean just for a change :wink:
i guess i could use the clubby hairy lime color
for the paint then just get a black 4 tha bonnet :roll:

I remember spotting one about 2 years ago here in Sydney at Maroubra. It even had the padlock on it and was in great condition. Made me chuckle :lol:

Yes-There's a Rally Mini over here in Perth,and is often seen in Varity Challenge events.
It is a round nose Mini and has the "padlock"-"teddy" and even a "Mr Bean" wedge underneath it when parked at displays. :D :lol: :lol: :lol:
