Hello and Christmas greetings from the UK!

I drive a 1978 Mini Saloon which I've owned for 17 years. He is my pride and joy!

We are coming to Austrlia next April and I was wondering if there would be any shows/events we might be able to attend?

We are in Cairns from the 7th April to the 28th and then in Sydney for 3 nights before we fly home.

Would love to attend a 'aussie' Mini bash!

Any info would be great!

'Mini Chrsitmas' everyone! :D :D :D

The Cairns Auto Spectacular will be on 1st and 2nd of April. Should be a really good show, they are organising some really good cars. My Mini will be there again, shouldnt be hard to take out Best British Car as usual!!!

Merry Xmas mate - Love the eloquent way you can put down a pom while extending an invitation of hospitality to them. Keep em in their place. !!!

Clarebear - enjoy your time here and Makka's invitation is a sincere one and he throws a good party - I have heard about them

Hi, thanks for all your messages and hope everyone has had a good Christmas!

Well it seems like there is a lot of you Mini freaks out there in Aussie land. I will check out some of the sites and stuff etc. Thanks for all that! That party sounds good too :D

Yes we are very close to Luton where they used to make the Vauxhall's. All gone now though (Vauxhall that is not Luton). I was born in Luton too and yes it is still a shity old place!

Anyway maybe I'll see some of you in 2006! I'll be on the lookout for Mini's!
