I go back to Kaniva on the 9th of january. I have until then to put a new motor in my 100 dollar mini, tidy up the inside and strip, prep and paint it! Have already bought all the stuff I need and it came to 475 dollars. It will be a metallic light maroon. Engine is a 998 believed to have been recon 10, 000 kms a go. I will post pics as I go!

I have doubts if i will get it done!!!!! :D :D , but I am sure going to try!!!!!

acrylic it is!! Will start sanding tomorrow to see what lies beneath. There are photos of it in its current state in the gallery somewhere.

progress so far:

Sanded and filled half of the car.
Removed interior and windows, bumpers ect...
Engine has been removed ( anyone want a 998 block for rebuild, you can have this one with head for 30 bucks, it was making weird noises!
Monday I will sand and fill the rest of the car (by fill I mean dents not rust! :D ), Tuesday or wednesday primer and so on ect......)

Have a good xmas everybody! :D

Yes.

I have one block and head which is 30 thou over in good cond which needs new rings and bearings.

Also have a block and head which was noisy unknown condition for 30 bucks, has everything on it except ancillaries, but I havent taken them off yet.

The top block and head someone can have for 70 all up, or take both for 100! :D

What year?

I started my project in September, hoping to be finished b4 Christmas,
but seems as that's today ... let's say maybe February!

It all depends how fussy your gonna be -
and whether you've done it all b4!

Best of Luck dude!
