today me and my brother "ss wannab" got a mini and a front cut. can anyone tells us what engine sizes and body models they are front cut, plate tells us type-YMA252 car no.-1747 engine-9YA/Ta/H/2533 morris shell, plate tells us type-YMA252 car no.-14737 engine-9YA/Ta/H/15165 any info will help thanks |

You'll also find that the YMA252; the 5 is actually an S.

Tthe 9YA/Ta/H indicates a 998cc in both cases as well |

It is not YMA252 it is YMA2S2 (damn, willy beat me to it)
Y = Australia M = Morris A = 800cc to 999cc 2S = Body type (2S = 2 door saloon) 2 = Series of model (850=1, Deluxe=2, etc.) Engine number 9YA/Ta/H/2533 9 = engine size between 900cc and 999cc Y = Australian assembled A = Variation of power unit (A= 1st variant) Ta = Std ratio remote centre change H = High compression |

Car number is 1747 so it's early, my guess would be 1965. Tell us the car colour listed on the Body plate, that might narrow it down too. |

Shadow Blue is a 1966 only colour. |
