Hi guys, I'm going to have my old man draw up some CAD plans to build a mini restoration rotisserie and i'm keen to find out the weight of an empty bodyshell (mines an 850 but i doubt there would be much variations) so we can work out the required materials to build it in. Anyone have any idea or anyone know of a link to find out bodyshell dimensions etc. thanks Pete |

I would only be guessing but I think the bare shell would be between 100kg and 150kg. I lifted a 1275ls shell into the back of an F100 ute on my own! Body Dimensions Overall length = 10'0?" = 3.05m Overall width = 4'7?" = 1.41m Overall height = 4'5" =1.35m |

The rotisserie I borrowed for the 850 had a 5" pipe thru it, approx 12 feet long.. ![]() |
