Got some new CV's and wondering if the drive shafts I have formerly used with uni joints will accomodate a pot joint.

Thank you.

So they have a different type of spline on the end? Wish I had one of each to compare (trip to Tims???)

By the way, hanks for that link Mick but I think second hand is cheaper. Might post on here for a few actually.

Yeah...go see Tim and ask to see a pot-jointed gearbox.....there is a thread or two here explaining what you have to do....not easy...but worth it.

The link was to show you that any fool with a hacksaw and file could make those door spacers ....as I suggested :!:
(Caveat: any inference that Brom is any fool is unintentional and regretted :D )

Pot joint shafts are both longer, and have a different spline (and a circlip groove) at inner end than the others.

So I have disk brake CV's (for the disk brakes) and drive shafts.
I have discovered that the later style pot joint g/box is better and easier to find

Therefore I need to find pot joint style drive shafts for the cv joints instead of using the ones that came with the brakes?
