![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Depending on what sort of condition the car is in, what year model etc. it may quite possibly be a resonable price. The market value for the cars at the moment is quite high as there are no post 90's mini's coming into the country at the moment due to import rules. |

Got a 1994 Spi Cooper. Ozcooper compliance with aircon for these stinking hot days. ![]() Had it for a month, paid $11k, but then spent over $2k getting it all fixed. Now fixed Broken top engine steady mount on firewall ![]() New CV joints, wheel bearings, rebuilt brake cylinders, couple of new heater hoses and thermostat housing, new tyres..... the list goes on. ![]() ![]() Best thing about the car? This sticker on the back windscreen. ![]() Now runs like a dream and is my daily driver. Future plans, some extractors and a larger bore exhaust, thinking some DTM twin tips on a centre mount exhaust, but not sure yet I think I'd like to see a couple of other mini's running them to get an idea of what they might look like on my car. |

He did explain it to be but i kinda forgot. From memory i think he cuts the neck down a bit the inserts a sleve inside of the existing neck which has the flap and screw fitting on it, i think this is either welded or glued in |

most late model cars have them. Check out the inside of a bombadoor fuel filler. you just need to remove the neck and then remove the flap and plate. then weld, or pop rivit it into the mini neck. |

The chrome cover I have replaces the black plastic cap (from a magna! ![]() ![]() The chrome cap cost me $20 from Brickworx, has about 4 turns on it to lock it down and works just like the plastic ones from new cars with ratchet (?) arrangement once its completely on, except this has a lock on it. I filled up today and after some spirited cornering, the cap and the unleaded fuel flap have kept things dry. ![]() |
