OK so I am wanting to find out how many 1275LS are left in the
great land of Oz....

Please put
1) Your Name
2) year
3) Vin Number
4) Engine Number
5) History if known
6) Picture (if Possible)

I owned the 4th last produced (had the plaque) back in the late 80's for about 2-3 years.

Wondering if is still with us. Have posted separately with additional pics.

I only know the details from the plaque (from photos) as i don't have any old papers.

Chassis No 105281
"produced for sale" 26/10/78
Hi Ho Silver
Was bought from a car yard and I sold it to a guy in Oyster Bay, Sydney (if memory serves)
Had (factory/dealer??) sliding Sunroof and the optional driving lights.

While I had it I swapped the wheels (and front discs) for 10in Contessa mags and reprayed the grille all black. Removed the pollution gear and souped up the engine. (extractors, mild cam, twin su's)

When I sold it the fact that it was 4th last didn't really interest anyone much, even the clubs.

5) History - i purchased the mini a couple of months ago from melbourne, however going by the stickers on the back window it was associated with a mini club in ACT at some time

sorry about the thread revival, just thought the thread creator might still be keen. Is there anyway to get a copy of the register?

All the 1275LS owners/ experts/ people that know stuff.

How many of the last 127LS's have the "this is the x last mini made" plate?

Is it like the last 20 or 50 that have these plates and where exactly is it, its a bit hard to tell from the photo, but looks like the top crash pad towards the middle - near the ashtray?

Brenton

Left side of the upper crash pad.

Somewhere I have it too that they were fitted to the last 20. I've got a pic (again somewhere) of the last one.
