Hey all, is there any way of finding out if the motor in my 1275 LS is the origional one and if the numbers match???? cheers... jimmy |

In the good old days (pre- VIN) there was- the car's body plate had the engine number on it... 
But the VIN does not. 
Unlike in UK there's no registration document here in any state that traces a car's history, AFAIK. And BL trashed most production records when they scampered back to England. |
