Yea I know. I put a bid on them before I started this thread. After bidding I thought......maybe I bid too much, so I am now asking what they would normally be worth! |

ummmmm, top gun leads, last time I checked was about 50 bucks a set of four or six, cant remember, check your closest Auto-one shop. I used to use 10.0 mm leads on my old car. no drama's ever with em, cept for the fact the stereo had some funny buzz goin through it all the time. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Bosch `Super Sports Inductive Core' leads are good enough for many race Minis and they are just $5 each at Supercheap.. ![]() I used to use Top Guns but found they were only good for a couple of years, then the resistance goes up... ![]() |

Older Minis were made with copper leads and suppression caps. ![]() Strange as it may seem, you do get a stronger spark with some resistance in the HT circuit. If you are using copper leads, either fit 6-10Kohm suppressor caps, or use resistor plugs eg `BPR6ES'. Don't use `R' type plugs with suppression cables- these already have 5-8Kohm resistance when new. ![]() |
