Anyone know much about them, have found one on ebay in SA but my knowledge on the subject is pretty limited.

Am respraying a shell in a while (once the garage is a bit more water tight... ) so want something with a resonable tank that will last for a while as my brother in law will probably use it in as well.

Don't want something that will only last 6mths and then I'll have to get another one ...

Looks like a reasonable size, can you get some flow figures and the tank size?

Okay - I have something similar but driven by a briggs and stratten - a couple of things
1. Your tank is pretty small and using heavy air tools and or long spraying sweeps will leave you very short on pressure.

2. The motor looks like a 2.5 hp motor and will struggle to keep the pressure up

I have an electric motor for mine as well and it only takes 1/2 hour to change from one to the other but I rarely run it as a petrol compressor now as petrol generators have come down so mch in price and i just take the genny and run the compressor as an electric unit.

It works better as an elctric unit.

I've got a little 20l 1.5hp compressor that I plan to paint my van with, a mate reckons we can link 2 small compressors together to double the capacity - anyone tried it?
