Definitely get it test driven but also ask why are they selling it and why aren they selling it with only a couple of months to go on the rego , is there a problem that would make rego difficult/expensive.

AARGH!!! :x allready sold. talk to the owner they just wanted to get rid of it :shock: . sounded as though nothing was wrong with it. no rust or anything accept on the seems :) .

i guess i shouldn't be suprised, i road worthy mini for $1500. it's not fair i wanted it! :cry: :cry: :cry:

Commiserations :cry: .... Oh well , keep looking , there's still some reasonable ones out there , just need to be in the right place at the right time . Send an email to the guy I pm'd you about and ask if he can put a "wanted" note in the next newsletter .

yer i managed to pick my 74 clubby up for 400 buks off my cousin !!! sfa rust and new clutch and cv joints......and it runs...

besides, aren't we all looking for a non expensive, good condition mini like that one.

found another one though, now i really got to be nice to mum and dad to see if they will give me a loan. not sure if it is an S like they say it is though. the colour is what i have allways wanted cept i got to put 2 fat white stripes over it and by the looks of the engine bay the paint job is bloody good. i'd put a bigger engine in anyway.

Ah well , busy time of year for people , I'm sure Bob will get back to you soon . Still , you never know , someone might be thinking of selling and just needs the reminder that people are looking or might know somebody selling something . The more places you put your hand up saying you're looking for something , the more likely you are to find it .
