So my parents are selling their house and throwing into the deal the garage that contains my 76 clubbie. The engine is sitting on the floor next to the car and needs a new radiator, extractors, exhaust, inlet manifold and electric fuel pump. The engine is missing lots of mounting bolts and bits/etc. I don't have time to do it myself and I just came into a bit of money (work bonus, who gets those anymore??)

Quotes from 2 mini specialist work shops site unseen were
1. between $800 - $1400
2 $1500 - $2000.

This was just to get the engine in, supply and fit missing running bits. (as mentioned above plus the occasional bolt/nut) and getting it running.

I expected more and was pleasantly suprised.

This wont be the end of the story still needs front and back glass and interior (including seatbelts) and wheels before registration. But still it might just fit within my new budget who would have thought???

Well I was impressed...
