Hi guys I've got a replacement starter motor on the way now how do I replace it. Do I simply unbolt it and rebolt it?? or is that ot simple :?

yep, 2 bolts and the power cable from the solenoid - as long as you're not talking about a bini like in your avatar

one thing just take the power cable off at the battery or you may loose all that important lucas smoke in the wires

NO definatly for my Cooper S not my MINI
Wouldn't even think about it in the new rig, to many sensors, wires etc...

Tip: Don't do up the wires on the starter motor too tight!
