When you consider that it was pushing 30 years ago now since they were made, you do still see quite a few around!

IMHO that's one of the few Leyland colours that hasn't dated.

I have pics of one that people won't see any-more. It's all been cut up since. Poor lil thing got smashed up. Crewman went straight through a stop sign and took it out.

ive been told from more than one very reliable source that the magic number is (ironically) 998. 499 of each colour. minus 1 that is on the museum in south oz, as it was last to roll off the production line.

3rd last is silver and in NSW , can't say anything else at the request of the owners . Has original plaque on dash stating it's the 3rd last mini produced and is in the same family since new .
