And I thought we we're getting somewhere to.

Last thing, why create a shitfight with some of these topic's. One person alone should control this site. If people find an avatar ( for example ) offensive that one person ask's the owner to remove it, if he agree's. If the language is bad, PM the ONE PERSON and ask if he could talk with the offending person. Rules and punishments should be applied. We seen to have 2000 moderators on here ready to whinge at the smell of a fart.

Yep, 1 on 1 works, but then again, also knowing WHO the mods are in each section would help a lot .....

That discussion you are talking about was actually starting to get somewhere, i dont know who deleted it, or even why.. but a simple Locking and explaination would have gone a long way...

By the way, I'm a Mod on Several Car Sites (Including one Very high profile one..) and Moderating has a set of rules and requirments on each of them....

Perhaps a drafting of these rules and a public display of them would help a little ?

Cheers all, Just remember why we are all here....
J

The perfect example of ignorance by alot of users. You don't believe how difficult this can be. Firstly, this isn't anyones job, and people aren't paying us to do it, so that means that we have a life outside of ausmini. Secondly, no matter what you do, people will still have a whinge. If you let stuff go, like swearing and insults, people complain, but if you moderate, delete or move them, the same people complain.

Well it's been moved back out of recluse. It's now in the poolroom.
