just woundering what u guys might think?
my mini van has the rear window cut outs and personaly i like to solid sides but u see the groovr around the eadge?
well anyways i was thinking of where my cut out is put a sheet of metal and make it perfctly flush so there is no groove do u understand?
please like to know what people think.

Yep it does look very good.
I prefer it this style to the standard closed side van that has the outline of the window.

yeah i recon that would be alright, however with the van that has no windows but still has the outline, it still has the detail. if you make it all flush i think it woiuld look good, but you know the ford focus, how the tail lights are real high up, and then where lights normally are it looks kinda like there should be somehitng, it looks kinda empty???i dunno i reckon it would look awesome, but you would ahve to put something there.

it would be easier to polish too :D

Just a thought. While I reckon it would look good, I think the 'outline' adds a bit of strength to the panel to prevent it from going out of shape. I think a flat piece without the reinforement would tend to buckle, and heat distortion from welding the piece in could make it worse.

Then again I could be completely wrong.

It will hopefuly look good.....?
There is alot of flex in the panel so it will need to be braced...
The former off set ridge that was there, is there to add strength to the panel. Also the bracing across the roof
adds strength so that is prob a good idea to replace

u would need graphics or something(not ricey) like and old panelvan or somethig! neked chiks or fire breathing horses. ok ill go away now :oops:
