Will i need to use a brake booster if i fit 8.5" disks to a Leyland S.

I have one on hand but it needs new rubbers on the piston. I already have everything else ready to go but don't want to put the disks on if it requires you to push on the pedal so hard that you're lifting off the seat.

My mini K already had discs when I got it and to be honest I found the pedal too hard. Some people find discs OK without a booster but I have just had one fitted and I reckon it is great. I find that I get really good braking without the brakes being grabby.
