Cant say about the mini but recently had brakes done on the commodore and they sqeeked for a little while after tilll they came bedded ![]() |

They do squeak/squeal a little until bedded in. We have them on Barney. Great road pads. ![]() |

For better or worse - I was always told that for new pads (both racing and street) take them and and give them four big brakes and then drive normally and they are bedded. By big brakes, I mean get to 80 kays and then hit the brakes but dont lock them up, make the pads work. Do it in quick succesion and then drive the heat out of the pads by just driving normally for ten minutes or so. Might be wrong but thats what a lot have told me over the years. |
