Hi all.
I'm trying to find out what clolur my van was originaly. The comp plate says 1/sugarcane/3. I think this is an of white colour, on account of that is what the van is. Looks like the paint is pretty hard core faded, so i am assuming that it is orig.
Anyone know of a site that deals with the colour of aus cars?
Thanks all

it'd be really good if we could all get pix of our cars and do up an ausmini reference thread for colours.

I had a 67 or 68 (can't find the old rego papers to know ...) mini-matic that was "sugarcame" , I thought it was a nice colour , more interesting than a basic cream , sort of more yellow and depth in it . Still one of my favourite mini colours really . Of course being all polished up and a sedate colour it was a nice sleeper with the lumpy 1298 in it ..... When I got it it had a dead 998 , manual box and the auto subframe had already been changed for a manual one , too much trouble to take it back to an auto but the body was nice and tight - nobody thrashes an auto .....

Granny mobile with Cooper S steelies and hubcaps , they seem to blend in better than widened steelies or mags . Also put as much period style chrome on the outside as you can , looks neat , and innocent .....
