Well the 1310 out of the clubby is in many many bits now.. and off to get the machine work done..

Soon will be reborn as a 1360 with lots of good bits.

the 940 head has been at Drmini getting ported and BIGer valves put in.. now 36mm inlets and 31 exhursts, bronze guides, doubble valve springs and 1.5:1 rollor rockers..

Block is of to GRs to get bored and a little bit off the top.. Hepotec 1360 pistons. 521 rods. small J crank that is of to get ground also..

Cam is off to get RE13ified. New cam followers, Got a vernier belt drive kit to go on, new clutch parts and lightened flywheel..

4 synco box getting a new case and a few new parts and maybe a x pin diff or LSB maybe..

Large bore maniflow LCBs and DTM muffler, new 3 core Rad and oil cooler.

I think thats it for the motor.. the Dash is getting redone also atm..

Will post pics once all the parts are back and ready to to together..

Thanks Tony and Andrew @ minisport for my 1000 indervidual parts requests.. (cause I keep forgeting things i need)

Sounds like it will be a serious piece of kit - any chance of some pics as it comes together? I'm especially interested in seeing the in the belt drive kit. :)

I've run one for 12 years now, it was on the 1310 motor when I bought it.

Yes the timing stays spot on, my ignition timing (with Pulsar electronic dizzy) was still right 12 months after I set it.

No they don't stretch. Still tight at 40,000 miles.

Original belts were Pirelli/Dayco, made in Italy. Not sold now, the standard replacements are coming from China... but I don't like these.

I changed the belt every 40,000 miles (Pirelli ones).
Currently I'm using a Kevlar competition belt from MiniMania USA, they are good for 50,000 miles. :D
