Hi Does anyone on here own a pickup?

did you have to get your tonneau covers custom made + the brackets/buttons/hooks on the side to attach them round?

could you put an alarm sensor to detect entry to the rear tray area?

i believe there is a pickp in dean canto's (the v8 supercar driver) family somewhere, it was in the mini experience a few issues back.

im sure the tonneau cover wouldnt be too hard to make, or not too expensive to get custom made.

but an alarm? not too sure about that, unless you could make up some kind of laser grid like you see in the movies, or a light sensor perhaps???

if you are going to be putting valuables in th back would it be worth looking at a hard top cover like you see in new ford and holden utes????

there are motion sensors available for car alarms, a mate's mate had one on his ultra wanky POS it was so sensitive you only had to wave your hand in front of it and it beeped a couple of times. I think it was adjustable though.

a mate of mine had an alarm on his moke, if you put your arm inside the passenger area it would beep at you - so you can definitely put an alarm in the payload to detect intrusion into it's airspace

also pretty sure you can buy tonneau covers new from england, but talk to a trimmer, they'd be able to make one easily I'm sure
