Yesterday car started to putt putt putt along didnt know what was going on.
Finally got home very slowly checked my plugs and they were black as, changed them today took her out for a spin fine now!!!

Thing is seem to have to change plugs every few months is this normal, will a better/new ignition coil help???Also is there better types of plugs to buy i just always get the NGK ones

I use the NGK ones myself and my car runs smooth enough, but I usually have to change mine every 6 months too....

Wouldn't mind finding out the answer myself :D

I always use bosch, top gun leads, and a bosch GT40 coil, cant go past those ingredients! :lol:

The Bosch website) and other people on here) suggests if plugs are fouling when using unleaded fuel, you run a plug one grade hotter in heatrange.
So, if using:
NGK BP6ES- try BP5ES,
Champion N9YC- try N11YC,
Bosch W7DC- try W8DC.
