I have the dreaded rust problem coming out in seams and is in deperate need of repair.

Can anyone suggest some places in southern sydney (Sutherland area) that are would be interested in rust work? I have been to a couple of places but they were more interested in insurance work than rust repairs. This is a daily driver so I am not looking for a showroom job, but i certainly don't want the rust coming back..... Any tips on the best approach? Would fibreglass be good enough?

I personally wouldn't fibre glass it, specially if it's your daily driver you want the car to be safe n' reliable and not attracting unwanted attention. Depending on the amount of rust the car has, you could get some quotes from panel beaters who are interested in rust repairs if your unable to cut the rust out ur-self.

Yes, it is finding those "who are interested" that seems to be the problem, or maybe I am looking in the wrong place. Thanks for your response though. There seems to be mixed opinons here on Ausmini about the best way forward, but I will keep looking.
