Our trailer runs mini wheels (and hubs) and is needing new bearings, only there seems to be a few inconsistencies. i.e. one side has a spacer between the bearings the other doesnt. Also a bearing, which possibly came out of a spare hub, is too big to fit on the stub axle. So, Anyone know what the diameter of the rear stub axle is meant to be? and what the I.D of the rear wheel hub, the bit where the bearing goes, is? Or the O.D of an actual bearing I suppose. |

I too recently did a rear wheel bearing on my clubman and the one that came out had a spacer in the middle between the two bearings. The new one from Karcraft didn't require a spacer but curiously there is still slight movement and I'm wondering whether the stub axle is worn. Hopefully someone else can be of more help. |

there should always be a spacer - either a seperate ring, or built into the inners of the bearings - if the kit you buy doesn't have a spacer (which seems to happen regularly) then take it back - I've made a habit of checking them at the shop too lazy to go and take measurements for you... |

There is no room for a spacer in mine once the inner and outer bearing were put in they met in the middle, no gap. |

that'd be the built in spacer type, the inner race is wider than the outer race on the inside, right? |

Yeh it was something like that. Can the stub axle be replaced, as there is still movement with the new bearing? |
