nice... :)

why not make it so the middle section between the wheels can be removed so you can work under it without them in the way if it's up there for a while?

Cause that would need more bracing. :D

I'd hate to see my missus try and drive anything up those :P ..........

I wouldnt have thought timber would be able to handle the load of a mini or moke, proves that wrong hey....

Its pretty meaty timber!
I can't see it breaking any time soon.
Out of interest, are they roofing beams?

Be careful using that now, won't you...

skssgn, the middle support legs are floaters so they can be removed if need be...

850pete & willy, the timber is 300x45 treated pine and with the middle support in place when driving on, there is no problems at all..

I am going to put some timber along the inside edges to stop the chance of driving off the sides...

Smokie, that is friggin AWESOME!! Well done mate. Once I extend the garage I'm doing that for sure.

Any chance of providing all the measurements/specs for it? Maybe even pop something in the How to?

Brilliant work mate.

Cheers,
BC.

I have seen the same thing in a garage, but it all folded down towards the ground when not in use... kinda pull it towards the ramps and it folds down to the floor.... using pin hinges. you don't need to find another storage area for the ramps and can still use your garage.
I have eyed off some steel at work which is quite suitable for the job too!!

but that looks really good and works well congrats!!
