got lots done this weekend on the mini :D

cheers hugh, matt and trent for your help today getting the engine out of the mini..we got there eventually, and the welding - really appreciate it guys :)

Image

Also got the engine bay all ready, ive now commited myself and the car is going to be subaru blue 8) , it doesnt look much in the pic here but the underside of the bonnet was sprayed and it looks awesome!! this it pretty much the colour http://www.wrx900.com/Subaru%2002.jpg

Image

The inside was all mostly back to bare metal so everything was sealed up etc. and the deadner stuff was sprayed all over too

Image

Im so lucky to have a neighbour who's a spray-painter, it comes in pretty handy :D 8)

yea the deadner i used comes in a litre (around 10-15bucks) and it attatches straight to the gun and you can spray it on. the whole enterior, boot and bottom of the car will probably use 3 litres.

yes it will sound proof but also stop rust etc.
