hi guys thought i would post here i'm think about bring over a "simple body kit" it's realy just front and rear with some sideskirts looks good and it is cheap. have a look here and tell me what you think. http://www.autofashion.co.uk/low_cal.htm if anyone is intrested we maybe able to get a few and save on frieght on the total. but i won't be getting it for a while yet. for those intrested it will cost less then $1000 landed. i know you can get zeemax kits but they are about $2000. if any one is intrested mini sports has/is bring some zeemax kits in and that is the rough price they gave me. |

hmmm autofashion............. kit took 18 months to get made and exported here, kit cost $1000+ 800 shipping and clearence taxes. was very hard to do, if you are really keen be verry verry patient, it takes quite a few goes at emails before they will right back, the only easyerrr way is to phone them lots |

have all ready email autofashion and got quote. i really didn't think it looked that bad. i just want something simple to coverup where the front apron on basher has been butchered and also the is a small ding in the rear. don't want to replace apron as rest of front is pretty straight and not going to try doing back will only make it worse. l go to my web site in the mini gallery you will see where the front is butched. http://home.kooee.com.au/web2798/ i thought it just finished the mini off slightly more modern and also i have firbeglass flares and like the idea of being able to mould them in to the front and rear bars. i guess it does look sort of "cheat" but i like the look and with a bit of time and moulding things together and to the body it would look much better. anyway all to there own. |

My personal opinion is that bodykits only look good if the rest of the car is primo as well. I Actually quite like that body kit, much more so than the full Zeemax kit - "sublety is the essence of herbs in cooking" as they say. And the price seems reasonable, although it's a bit of a risk to order it and hope the quality is good enough. Funny how those headlight peaks make the mini look like it's asleep. And I don't like roof spoilers. |
