Cool that blue clubby with the white roof in your photos (ALF 15T rego) was the first mini I ever saw and fell in love with. I went all the way to Newcastle to see it and we shook hands with the guy and I was supposed to pick it up on the weekend, but then he called and said he had a collapsed ring. Might have just been offered more.

Anyone knows who owns it now? (gotta be in Sydney I reckon coz I cant see somebody from Newcastle coming over just for the heck of it).

 My wife loved that one too! and friends on a UK board picked that one out from the bunch.

The show was pretty HUGE with 800 cars on display, so you never know, someone from Newcastle might have come down for the day.

Damn 800 cars many of which would have been minis and big healeys and E types plus $30 NOS oil coolers and the chance to find out more about that car- damn I knew I shouldn't have missed it.

MCC NSW had 40ish Minis, but there were more Mini's scattered about in other club displays. The MG club had a massive turn out, with just as many MGA's as MGB's.
There were some sweet Austin Healeys and even some trick Anglia's.

The swap meet officially didn't happen, but people turned up with stuff to sell without knowing it had been canned. That's how we got our bargains.
