on a more sreious note , did you have it rebuilt yourself or did you buy it rebuilt ? Does it have receipts to show it's been rebuilt and how much use has it had since ? If you can prove what was spent on it and how little use it's had I'd say go for something a bit below the rebuild costs (60% of rebuild costs) . If you only have the word of the previous owner then it's probably worth the $50 mentioned earlier as it's an unknown quantity . This is still only a guesstimate though . |

sounds good to me its really expensive to rebuild an engine, it cost me $800 to rebuild my gearbox at mates rates.. |
